Lady Wildcats beat Sanborn in overtime after a tough game that saw them being fouled 29 times by the Sanborn defense. Gracie Bolduc added 20 points including the game tying free throw that kept the Wildcats in the game. Aubrey Fischer made clutch free throws to close the gap as well as played stellar defense. Emma Edwards, Molly Gamache, Olivia Hargreaves, Hailey Michaud, and Abby Duclos added to the game winning score of 38-33 in this excitement filled game. The Lady Wildcats will play their last game of this season at home at 5pm this Thursday against Litchfield.

 

Boys fell to Sanborn on Friday and look forward to Thursday when they play their last game of the season at home against Litchfield.

 

Student Council meets tomorrow after school till 2:50

 

There is a dance this Friday from 6:30-9 to benefit the John Stark Cheerleaders. Admission is $5.

On this day in 1932, Ophelia Wyatt Caraway, a Democrat from Arkansas, became the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate.

 

The Wildcats will play against Sanborn today. Players will be dismissed around 1:45.

 

Students interested in auditioning for this year’s Stage Company production of “Into the Woods Jr” must attend the informational meeting on Wednesday January 17th. Permission slips for the meeting are in the office. You will not be able to audition if you do not attend the meeting.

On this day in 1935, Amelia Earhart departed Wheeler Field in Honolulu, Hawaii on the first solo flight to North America, landing in Oakland, California, 18 hours and 2,400 miles later.

Are you interested in acting or working as part of the stage crew? The WMS Stage Company will be having an informational meeting on Tuesday January 16th from 3-4:30 and will be watching the movie "Into the Woods Jr." Permission slips are available in the office.

 

The Wildcats will take on Cawley today. Players will be dismissed at 1:40.
