Today is the last day to turn in yearbook order forms and entries for the WMS Fun Run 5k t-shirt design contest.

EVENTS:

 

Did you know? The 2022 Winter Olympics will be held in Beijing, China, which also hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics. This is the first time a city has hosted both the Summer and Winter Games.

 

Yearbook orders are due tomorrow! Don’t miss out on this year’s edition.

 

Reminder there is no drama club today.

 

There is still time to submit a design for the WMS 5k Fun Run t-shirts! Entry forms are in the office and are due tomorrow.

 

Tomorrow is Sports Day! Wear your favorite team jersey!

 

If you are interested in taking the Red Cross babysitting class, forms are available in the Health Office.

Did you know? The skeleton event was reintroduced at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics after a 54-year absence.

EVENTS:

 

Did you know? NH’s own Bode Miller is a six-time Olympian, and sometimes still skis at Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch.

 

Our Weare Athletic Club girls basketball team played game one of their tournament last night and won 37-22. Rebecca Mussey, Olivia Worthen and Elizabeth Hatfield all scored 8 points and Ava Houde scored 7 points. A strong defense was played by Makayla Pellerin and Madelyne Cyr. Excellent passing and great teamwork was shown by each girl.

Attention students: On behalf of the administrators and chaperones, we would like to congratulate you on a successful Sweetheart dance last Friday. You all did an amazing job enjoying the dance while remaining respectful and appropriate.

 

Student Council will be meeting tomorrow at 2:10 in Mrs. Wilson’s room.

Olympic medal count: as of this morning, Norway leads with 8, Canada is in second place with 6, Germany and the Netherlands are tied with 5, and Team USA has 4.

 

The Boys Baseball Conditioning clinic for today and Wednesday February 14th will be from 3:30-5:15.

 

Carnation orders are due today!

 

There are two weeks left to order a yearbook! Forms are available in the office and are due on February 22nd.
