All students 6th-8th grade, please remember to sign-up for a Carnaval activity if you haven't already. Carnaval will take place this Friday, January, 26th and you will receive your activity placement by Wednesday. Also, don't forget to bring some money for the treat cart that will be roaming around the school throughout the day! You can purchase items such as cookies and hot chocolate. All proceeds to benefit your host of Carnaval, the French Honors Society of John Stark

 

Hat day will be this Friday. Bring in your .50 cents and wear a hat all day!

 

WMS Stage Company will be meeting at 3:00 in Mrs. Russell’s room. Auditions for Into the Woods Jr will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, permission slips are in the office.

On this day in 1993, production begins on Toy Story, the first full-length feature film created by the pioneering Pixar Animation Studios.

 

Congratulations to Sarah Guillemette, our Spelling Bee Champion. She will move on to the State Bee on February 24th.

 

There is a dance tonight from 6:30-9 to benefit the John Stark Cheerleaders. Admission is $5.

 

WMS Stage Company will meet on Monday January 22 for an informational meeting and viewing of "Into the Woods Jr." Permission slips are required and can be picked up in the office. Auditions will take place on January 24th and 25th, from 3:00-4:30.

The Wildcats will play their last game of the season today, at home, vs. Litchfield.

 

There is a dance this Friday from 6:30-9 to benefit the John Stark Cheerleaders. Admission is $5.

 

Stage company news: The “Into the Woods Jr” movie viewing and informational meeting has been rescheduled to Monday January 22, from 3:00-4:30 in Mrs. Russell’s room.. Please make sure you have turned in your permission slip or you will not be able to attend, or audition. Auditions will take place on January 24th and 25th, from 3:00-4:30.

EVENTS:

Lady Wildcats beat Sanborn in overtime after a tough game that saw them being fouled 29 times by the Sanborn defense. Gracie Bolduc added 20 points including the game tying free throw that kept the Wildcats in the game. Aubrey Fischer made clutch free throws to close the gap as well as played stellar defense. Emma Edwards, Molly Gamache, Olivia Hargreaves, Hailey Michaud, and Abby Duclos added to the game winning score of 38-33 in this excitement filled game. The Lady Wildcats will play their last game of this season at home at 5pm this Thursday against Litchfield.

 

Boys fell to Sanborn on Friday and look forward to Thursday when they play their last game of the season at home against Litchfield.

 

Student Council meets tomorrow after school till 2:50
